Rivka Weinstock is an artist, translator and educator originally from Brooklyn, NY. Her current art practice integrates painting and collage. Utilizing found material from multiple sources, including old magazines, books, maps, fabric and any images or patterns that make their way to her, her praxis involves responsive and intuitive acts of juxtaposition, layering, covering and uncovering. She holds a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning as well as a Masters of Fine Arts. Rivka currently works as the Ed Director at an urban farm and lives on Ohlone land (the Bay Area, CA) with her partner, Ariel Resnikoff, and their sweet kiddo.
